Wacom graphics tablets?
My first graphics tablet was an Adesso which didnt work with Win 7 and wasnt good anyway, for example if you traced a drawing with the pen it would not come out the same. I returned it to the company. So now im finally going to listen to people and get a wacom. The only problem is price, the bamboo fun is the only bamboo that's big enough, but im not sure how good it will be for only animation/digital art. I was also considering the Intuos, but they are expensive(er) and my budget is 200 $. The small is 142 $ refurbished, but may be a little too small, and the medium is 290 $ used. So is the bamboo fun good for digital art, or should I get an intuos instead? and would a medium be worth saving more money for??

I have a smallish Bamboo tablet, and I find it works just fine. It's ...uh, I want to say 4" by 6" but I'm not entirely sure on that.
I've a lot of artist friends who say they actually prefer the smaller size, because it works just as well as the bigger ones but is less cumbersome and in the way. This way, also, when they zoom in to make detailed work, they don't have such a large space to paint in. This can be a pro or a con, depending on how you look at it. If you want pixel perfect, ultra realistic stuff, you might want something a little bigger, or not. The smaller size is better for slightly more vague things that actually look like paintings (even digital) rather than photos.
I like mine small, because as stated before, it's not in the way, easy to move around, and means that I don't have to get into big movements when I'm painting. I can keep things small and localized.
This is, of course, just my take. Maybe you could buy a Bamboo, see if you like it, and if you don't, return it, or just use it for now as practice?
