CPA review course / self-study?
I am looking at Roger Philipp USB course, Gleim self-study package, Kaplan and Yaeger's self-study and online review course right now. Can someone tell me which one is the best for CPA exam preparation? I plan to take 1 section of the exam in 6 weeks. I heard Becker is great, but it's too expensive.
I am personally using Becker (although my firm pays for 100% of that). The others that I have heard of as being good are Bisk and Kaplan. I would look for a program with more than just books. The Becker CDs that you watch really help you retain the information that is necessary to pass the exams. Also, make sure they have as many multiple choice questions and simulations as possible. Nothing can prepare you as well as seeing questions over and over.
