my wireless usb mouse isnt working correctly?
my wireless mouse isnt working fully. its a micro innovations laser mouse. it only moves downward or to one side, and even then it lags and its really spotty.
anything?
check batteries...
batteries are good. clean the surface it sits on. or the mouse itself.
if it's clean... check for updated drivers. go to manufacturers website search for newer drivers. can check current driver.. by going to my computer.. right click ..select manage... select device manager... find your mouse in the list. high light it.. right click. select properties. look for the driver... date. ..if there's a driver. more recent than that. get it.
if you recently did update the driver... and the batteries/clean thing didn't fix it. try rolling back the driver.
also... ensure that the wireless mouse... and whatever reciever it communicates with... are within line of sight.
if the wireless part. uses infrared. it needs a light of sight between the device and reciver. .. if that thing needs batteries check that. is it clean? is there something between it.. and your mouse. ..like a cordless phone, speaker. ..other electronics. that may disrupt the signal.
if none of that fixes it. you might have a dead mouse.
