Ebay: What's the catch? Anyone who has purchased from a vendor like that? $ 0.01 + Free Shipping.?
So I'm in dire need a new laptop adapter and was looking on ebay for something good since I was very low on funds. I saw other auctions as well and avoid them, assuming that there must be a catch. Does anyone know what it is? I'm tempted to bet on it, because even if the product does not work I'm just a penny .... but I am not sure if it's a sort of Paypal scam or not ... Advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
You can usually tell if the user is likely to go wrong by history and rating. It looks like this user is trustworthy, and sold items like the one you are interested cheap before. I use ebay a lot, and personally I would buy this object. It is not always a catch. It looks like this user is waiting the tender to set up a little, then get rid of its object. It is probably hoping to get about 5 dollars for it, and deal with it. That's the way most eBay users work. I once bought a game console to about 20 Hong Kong dollars, The only problem was that I had to wait three weeks for it to happen, so sometimes there are drawbacks in a case apparently great. As a scam PayPal, I do not know. From the looks of his critics, it is likely not, but I can not say much, I do not know much about this subject. As the answering First is, you can always offer a penny, you can not really go wrong.
