led flash lights?

The ones with blue tinted lights are not as bright and almost seem like a black light of sort. The white is a lot brighter. What is the use for so many of the blue colored led flash lights? I got one and the blue tinted does not seem to light up as well to see much but the same light with a white led is so much brighter. So what do you use the blue tinte led for in so many of these flash lights?

I agree with you. The only two reasons I can think of are:
*To some people, blue may feel softer and "moodier" and not as harsh as white
*Blue is different to white, so it can be used to indicate or signal something different, although red would be a better color for signaling, as blue is too close to white.
