Is it safe to use 1.2v NiMH Rechargeable Batteries on a 1.5v Wireless Mouse?
Is it safe to use 1.2v rechargeable batteries on a 1.5v wireless mouse? Or would it short-circuit my mouse?
I have a Toshiba Nano Receiver Wireless Mouse that is about 4 days old, and 4 Energizer AAA 1.2v having 850mAh rechargeable batteries.

I looked everywhere on the mouse's packaging to look for battery specifications but it only says 2 AAA batteries.
So would it be ok to use 1.2v batteries on 1.5v?
It's safe, but make sure the polarity is not reversed. You don't want to have the + - polarities reversed.
