Keyboard Spanish
can somebody tell me, how can I change my keyboard to be able to send mail in Spanish, with the extra letters
Basically my keyboard lacks the extra letters and signs, that are needed it in Spanish to send a correct e-mail without mistakes. Can somebody help me with that?
THIS WILL WORK FOR XP OR BETTER, prior to that you need symbol or manual config...
It is very easy... but it depends on how you configured your computer at first...
First, try to see if there's a small symbol on the lower right that says "EN". If not, right click on the task bar at the bottom, go to toolbars, and go to "language bar"... once youve selected it, you should see the smal "EN" im telling you...
Next, click on the small arrow that appeared right from the "EN" and select "Settings", then youll be redirected to an additional screen, where at the middle you just have to click "add" and then choose spanish, you can choose any country, and it WILL matter, since the keys are configured differently...
I will explain Mexico... choose mexico, and choose the keyboard that goes as default, then accept close everything, and then click on the "EN", and it should let you choose between English and Spanish... choose spanish, but notice that EVERYTIME you change an application, the default will be restored, so you can be working in word in spanish, and in outlok in english, and in general windows in whatever... french... so make sure you have your email client open and as primary and then change to spanish... now.... you might think the keyboard is kinda crazy....all letters are the same (unlike french where a is q, w is s, and e is d, or german where z is y) but most symbols are different... to write a tilde, (remember, in mexican settings) push the key exactly right from "p" and THEN write the vowel you want the tilde on.... it works for áéíóúý... if you want "umlaut", use the same button but with shift, äëïöüÿ .... if you want "eñes", use the button right from "l"... notice that most buttons will have moved, so dont freak out!!! like question mark will be where the underscore usually is, shift+2 will be " and i dare you to find this one "~"... @ will be with altgr+q (altgr+2 for spain) and parenthesis will be shift +8 and shift+9
i could tell you all of them... but its more exciting for you to find them out!
hope this was helpful!!
