NEW MERCEDES CHROME KEY COMPATIBLE WITH THE BLACK the old one?
Hello, I have a CLK 430 2002 3 years with the black key button. I want to add 2 Additional key for my car but I want the new chrome, will they be compatible? I want to buy them on ebay but I would like to know if I need to find a specific FCC # or any number of other refernce Before going to the dealer and schedule? The charms of chromium are fully compatible with all years and models that use keys electronic chip. The only thing you can not do is transfer the key blade of a door to a black-chrome fob as they are a different design and will not physically fit. However, do not buy a used door-Benz keys. They are hard-coded which means they can be programmed once. No distributor can reprogram a key for you. You'll buy a expensive paper weight if you buy a used key fob Benz. For additional keys, you need to order again from your dealer Benz. You have no other options.
