What sort of Euphonium do I need?

I'm writing my AS music composition, in which the brief is to write as though toys are coming to life. I've decided to use a Euphonium to represent the bishop piece on a chessboard, but I'm paralysed by the sibelius instrument options. Do I need an a) Euphonium in Bb [treble clef] b) Euphonium in Bb [bass cleff, treble transp.] c) Euphonium in C [bass clef] or d) Euphonium in Bb [bass clef]?

Just a little background so you can see its purpose:

I'm writing a piece to go along with a chessmatch, with Black=Strings+woodwind and White=Brass. So its not really a brass band, concert band, or anything like that.

My limited knowledge on this subject: The Euph itself doesn't change keys, the clef is just a convenience for the player. If you were a trumpet player that got switched to the Euph, then read the treble clef Bb music. If you were a trombone player then read the C bass clef. If you started, from you first day, on euphonium then the clef is the teacher's choice. It really makes no difference, they both come out sounding the same. If it is going to be performed by real people check to see what they read first OR produce part in both clefs.
